The next stop was in Lisbon, Portugal. We took a combination bus/walking tour of the highlights of Lisbon which included the Nationwide Maritime Museum, the oldest a part of the town the Alfama, and Jeronimo’s Monastery. The museum centered on many of the explorers that got here from Portugal originally, and had many examples of Portugese boats, from fishing boats to boats of royalty. The monastery was huge and built within the sixteenth century.
